The National Football League playoffs begin on Saturday and many people will be placing wagers on the contests, even if they don't really have an opinion on a game, instead looking to add a little excitement.
A five-year point spread study of the NFL playoffs found a trend that has produced a 34-20 record against the point spread during that time, while giving a selection in every game. It's certainly worth considering this year, especially on those games you don't have a feel for, but want a little rooting action on.
