Thursday's free pick was a case of getting the hand caught in the proverbial cookie jar, as we went against the sports services and against the betting public, but came up a few points short as Pacific defeated Fullerton State by a score of 89-82 as three-point favorites. Pacific was an amazing 14 for 22 in shooting 3-pointers, but Fullerton still had its chances, trailing by five with 1:30 remaining, but were unable to get over the hump. We'll keep an eye open for the rematch, as it's unlikely Pacific will be able to repeat its effort from 3-point range on the road. Fullerton could be a solid wager in a revenge situation.
