Free Sports Betting Pick for Saturday

Saturday January 19, 2008
Today is already shaping up as a strange one, as there are literally dozens of games, but very little line movement. The most notable line movemnt in college basketball has involved Iowa State, as the Cyclones opened as even, but were bet up to 2.5-point favorites, although the line has dropped to 2 at most places. Several sports services have big plays on Iowa State.

Clemson is getting plenty of attention from sports services so far, but several have come in on the Blue Devils, keeping the Tigers from being a bet-against team. Still, I'd be tempted to stay away from Clemson, even though they look like a solid pick getting all the points.

Among the teams receiving plenty of betting action in college hoops so far today are the University of Portland, UCLA, the Utah Utes, Cal-Santa Barbara, Memphis, and Charleston. Use a bit of caution if backing any of them and look for the best line possible.

In the NBA, Milwaukee has been a popular sports service play and the Bucks have moved two points and are now favored by three against the Warriors. The total in the Dallas game has climbed several points and is now 202.5 or 203 at the sportsbooks.

In the NFL, Green Bay is now a solid 7.5- or 8-point favorite everywhere and the Patriots are holding steady at 14.

Today's free pick is in the NBA and can be found at Free Sports Betting Picks in the Sports Gambing 101 section of the site.
