Despite the number of games, big line moves have been few and far between, as just several lines have shown any significant movement. In the NBA, Cleveland opened as 13-point favorites over the Clippers and the line is down to 8.5, which is most likely due to the status of LeBron James, who is officially listed as questionable. In college hoops, West Virginia is now favored by two at Providence after opening as a pick, Utah State is favored by four after opening as 2.5-point favorites, and USC is now favored by seven after opening at nine.
Public plays thus far are Utah State, UNLV, TCU, Pepperdine, and Portland State in college basketball, the Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz in the NBA, and the New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche in the NHL.
