Free Sports Betting Pick For Thursday

Thursday February 7, 2008
Either the oddsmakers have done an exceptionally good job today, or the bettors are a bit gun shy, as there have been no significant line moves today, even in college totals, which is pretty surprising given the number of games.

Sports services are leaning to Denver University and Wisconsin-Green Bay, but by no means to the extent that would make them go-against picks. The services are pretty well split on the Washington State vs. UCLA rematch. In their previous game nearly every service was on the Cougars and quite a few bettors were as well, so there might be a bit of value taking WSU and the points at home, especially with SIA, one of the best sportsbooks to bet underdogs with because the line is generally shaded a bit towards the favorite, giving you WSU +3 -105, although I'm going to pass.

The public is backing Austin Peay, Idaho State, USC, Boise State, Wisc.-GB, Denver, and UCLA. The Cavs are the most popular choice in the NBA, while the Ducks have been a popular side in the NHL and Anaheim is now favored at New York.

For today, we're going to stick with college totals and there are five of them at Free Sports Betting Picks in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
