Free Sports Betting Pick For Thursday

Thursday March 6, 2008
Thank goodness for hockey. While the basketball picks, posted on the free picks page, have hit their worst slide (0-6) the past three days since I've taken over the site, the daily hockey picks, which are posted on the forum, picked up 5.05 of the 6.6 units lost to ease the pain a little bit. The hockey picks are now 33-22 for a gain of 15.95 units, as nearly two-thirds of our plays are on underdogs.

Looking at Thursday's card, popular plays with the public have been Boston, San Antonio, U Conn., and Michigan State. The services are on Clemson, U Conn., and Michigan State.

A few big line moves today, with Clemson climbing 2.5 points and the Tigers are now favored by 3.5, and the total in the same game has dropped five points to 148. Connecticut has climbed two points and is now favored by 5.5 points. The total in the St. Joe's game has dropped three points to 138.5, the total in the Arizona game has gone from 139 to 134, and Michigan State is now favored by three after opening even.

The total in the Chicago Bulls has climbed to 197 after opening at 193.5, while the Mavs opened as 6-point favorites, but the line quickly dropped to 1.5 after news of Nowitski's suspension became known.

Thursday's plays are up and you can find them at Free Sports Betting Picks in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
