A full day of basketball action is on tap for sports gamblers today, with a number of tournaments starting play, with even more starting up on Thursday. Nothing really looked enticing in the early going, so there was no need to force any action.

Nearly all of the college totals dropped a bit from the opening number, as bettors are reacting to the number of tournament games that have been low scoring. The Toledo game is an exception, having opened at 123 and is currently at 125.5. Other line moves of note are the Marquette total, which has dropped three points to 149.5, the La Salle total which is now at 162 after opening at 166, and the Southern Miss total, which has dropped to 124.5.

In the NBA, the Knicks opened as 1.5-point favorites and are now favored by three, while the Cavs are now five-point favorites after opening as a three-point choice. In totals, the Houston total has gone from 197 to 193.5, the Orlando total has climbed from 201 to 205, the Utah total has dropped from 215.5 to 211, and the Denver total has climbed from 223 to 226.5.

Public choices are the Knicks, Cavs, Mavs, and Jazz in the NBA, and Marquette, Marshall, and Sacred Heart in college hoops.

California has been a popular sports service choice so far today, although it's still early in the day as I'm writing this. If there are any updates, or Game of the Year plays, I'll throw them on the forum.

Good luck everybody.

Wednesday's plays are up and you can find them at Free Sports Betting Picks in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
