Free Sports Betting Picks For Monday

Monday March 24, 2008
Another eight college basketball games are on tap tonight, although they won't draw nearly as much attention as the weekend games. There is also the first Major League Baseball game of the season between Boston and Oakland, which will begin on Tuesday at 6:05 a.m. EST, and while I'll probably make a token wager on the game, it's nothing I'd recommend others do.

There hasn't been much in the way on line movement today, with the Nets opening at -3 and moving to -6.5 the main jump, while the Milwaukee total has dropped three points to 199.5 and the total in the Lakers game is down to 230.5 after opening at 234.

California has been the most popular sports service play for the day, and naturally I'm on other side, taking Ohio State -7.5, as one of the posted plays. The Lakers have been the most popular service play in the NBA, but not enough touts are on them to qualify as a go-against play.

The Nets, Nuggets, and Lakers are the most popular plays with the public. If the line on the Lakers had risen to -3, I may have came in on Golden State, but the number seems to be holding at 2.5, making it a no play for me.

One interesting thing about tonight's college basketball games is the contrast of styles between teams in a number of games, making totals play a bit risky.

Monday's plays are up and you can find them at Free Sports Betting Picks in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
