One of the aspects that makes baseball handicapping so difficult for a number of people is trying to guess when a pitcher will have a good start or a bad start. Far too many baseball gamblers make the mistake of climbing aboard the "hot" pitcher and going against the "cold" pitcher, when in fact that's the ideal time to do the exact opposite.
