Public Loving the Favorites

Baseball is the game of choice for most sports bettors today, although there are several WNBA games and one game in the Arena Football League. With the public betting baseball more often than usual today because the lack of other contests, the favorites have been getting hit pretty hard.

The Mets, Cardinals, Braves, Giants, and Yankees all have received 85-percent or more of the money that has been wagered in their respective games. As Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast my friend," as the underdogs offer some good value in several of those contests.
