Yankees Look to Bounce Back

Wednesday June 4, 2008
Joba Chamberlain's much-hyped first Major League start didn't go quite as well as the New York Yankees had hoped, and the promising pitcher was removed in the third inning of Toronto's 9-3 pummeling of the Bronx Bombers. The Yankees will look to make amends today with Mike Mussina taking the mound against Toronto's Jesse Litsch.

Mussina has been one of the few bright spots in New York's starting rotation, going 8-4 with a 4.26 ERA after starting the season 1-3 with a 5.75 ERA.

Litsch has been a pleasant surprise for Toronto with a 7-1 record and a 3.18 ERA after going just 7-9 last season, despite a very respectable ERA of 3.81.

The Yankees are small favorites to make amends for Tuesday's embarrassing loss and are looking to break a three-game losing skid.

The New York vs. Toronto game is one of the releases in tonight's Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
