There has been a bit of a lull when it comes to quality books on sports gambling. As a number of authors found out in the 1970s and 80s, which is when some of the best books ever written about sports betting came out, sharing your secrets with the public isn't always the wisest thing to do. Those who shared extremely successful systems with the general public also shared them with the sportsbooks, who were quick to adjust their lines.
