Football fans know that it's getting closer to the start of the new season by the number of football magazines they'll see on the supermarket shelves or in bookstores. As the start of the season draws nearer, the number of magazines also will increase, making it a difficult decision for football fans which magazines are the best to buy.
College football fans have it a bit easier, however, as there is one preview magazine that has historically been the best and things haven't changed one bit for the upcoming 2008 season. That magazine has been Phil Steele's annual college football preview and this year's version is as good as ever.
