Patriots Favored to Win Super Bowl

Thursday July 3, 2008
Even though they came up on the short end of the scoreboard in the 2008 Super Bowl, sportsbooks have installed the New England Patriots as solid favorites to win the 2009 Super Bowl. The Patriots are listed at 3-1 odds to return to their championship ways

Some of the Patriots' biggest challenges are expected to come from within the conference, as the Colts and Chargers are both 7.5-1, while the Dallas Cowboys are the top-ranked National Football Conference team, at odds of 8-1. The Giants are listed at 14-1 to repeat as champions.
