If you've read through some of the articles on betting the National Football League the one thing you may be thinking is that they sound interesting, but where will you find the time to do all the calculations? Well, we've got you covered, as I'll be posting the results of four different systems in the forum on a weekly basis, so that you can see for yourselves how they're performing.

Three of the systems are based on Yards Per Point, a tool many handicappers will tell you is the single most important factor when it comes to sports betting. The fourth system is based on strength of schedule, calculating how a team performs when measured against the opponents it has played. That system will be the basis of an article that publishes on Thursday, so that you can see the reasoning behind it.

Because of free agency and players moving around more than ever before, it will be interesting to see how the various systems perform in the early going compared to later in the season when we are using statistics solely from the current year.

It will also be interesting to see what happens when three or more of the systems agree on a particular team. Will those teams win at a higher rate? Only time will tell, but it should be fun to see what happens.

If you don't have a forum account, now would be a good time to sign-up for one and join in the action. The forum will have quite a bit of information during football season, including the occasional selections of Westcoast Sports, one of the top performing sports services in the business.

To visit the forum, click on the "My Forum" link underneath my picture, or you can click here and scroll down to the Handicapping section.

Let's all have an enjoyable and profitable football season.
