Full Slate of College Action

Saturday September 6, 2008
Saturday brings a full day of college football and the oddsmakers appear to be ahead of the bettors at this time, as there have been few large line moves, with several exceptions. One of the biggest-moving lines this week has been in the Michigan State game. The Spartans opened as 24-point favorites and the line is now Michigan State -21.

The Florida Gators are getting quite a bit of love today, as they are now favored by 23 points over their interstate rival, the Miami Hurricanes.

As usual, totals have shown the most line movement, as the total in the Auburn game has climbed 4.5 points to 46; the total in the Texas Tech vs. Nevada match-up continues to climb and is now at 68.5; the Oklahoma State Cowboys have seen the total in their game climb three points to 60; and the total in the other "Battle of Florida" between Southern Florida and Central Florida has drooped five points to 48.

Penn State has suspended several players, but that doesn't seem to have deterred bettors from backing the Lions, as PSU is still favored by 15 points over Oregon State.

Today's college football plays are up at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
