Although it's highly unlikely that you'll find anyone to publicly admit it, a number of sportsbooks weren't too disappointed to see Hurricane Ike causing some problems for this weekend's football slate. Not only will the sportsbooks get an additional game on Monday night, Ike also allowed them to cancel early bets made on the Washington State at Baylor college football game.

For some strange reason, the oddsmakers opened Washington State as a 3-point favorite and the money quickly poured in on the Baylor Bears. There was so much money on Baylor, the Bears quickly became the favorites. With the game now being played tonight, that allowed bookmakers the opportunity to cancel all bets and re-open the game. Baylor was a 3-point favorite on the new opening line and the Bears have climbed to 4-point favorites, as the money continues to come in.

Today's college football play is up at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
