Football bettors are going to be in their glory today, with a full slate of games, that will no doubt keep most bettors extremely busy throughout the day. Oddsmakers are starting to get a better reading on teams, as just several games saw line movements of two points or more. TCU opened as 12-point favorites against Stanford and are now -14, USC opened as 9.5-point favorites over Ohio State and the line is now 11.5, and Arkansas State opened as 2.5-point underdogs to Southern Miss and are now the betting favorites.
As usual, totals jumped around a little bit more, with high winds expected in some parts due to Hurricane Ike a contributing factor.
