As with nearly every other type of betting, wagering on the United States' Presidential Election is growing in popularity. In some years, the odds are fairly stable, while in other years, such as this one, the odds have moved drastically several times and are likely to do so again as November gets closer.
Those backing Barack Obama, either politically or in the betting marketplace, have seen their candidate make a big move in the last few days, while John McCain has taken a bit of a hit in popularity, due to the struggles of Wall Street. What does this mean for bettors?
