It's Tebow Time

Saturday December 6, 2008
Few college football games in recent memory have garnered as much attention as today's showdown between Alabama and Florida. Seldom will you see the top-ranked team in the country as an underdog, let alone a double-digit underdog, as the Gators are favored by 10 points. The betting public is pretty much split on the game, with 52-percent of the money coming in on the Gators.

It's a fairly tough game to handicap and the Gators will be without big-play receiver Percy Harvin, who sprained an ankle last week in the victory over Florida State. It's actually one of those types of games where a Florida romp wouldn't come as a shock, but on the other hand, a Crimson Tide victory wouldn't be that big of a surprise, either.

If Alabama is able to pound the ball down Florida's throats, which they will attempt to do, the game can come right down to the wire. If the Tide struggles with their rushing attack, it's doubtful they posses the passing game to match Florida.

While the Florida game is drawing the most interest, there are several other good match-ups, including Boston College vs. Virginia Tech and Oklanhoma vs. Missouri.

Today's college football games are up and can be found at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
