When it comes to legends in the sports handicapping field, Jim Barnes would no doubt be right at the top of that list. The author of the respected Journal of Handicapping, Barnes was one of the trend-setters in the handicapping field and countless sports bettors use Barnes' ideas on a consistent basis. The man has probably forgotten more about sports betting than the majority of today's self-proclaimed experts have ever known.

Barnes was never one to seek the limelight and was content to stay in the background, which was why he was called "America's greatest kept secret" by none other than Mort Olshan, the legendary founder of the Gold Sheet.

When somebody with Barnes' experience agrees to impart some of his knowledge about the sports betting scene, bettors would be wise to pay attention and learn from somebody who has "been there and done that."

To learn a bit more about Barnes, along with some sound betting advice, read Jim Barnes in the Online Betting Sites section of the site.

Love Jim’s stuff. It’s time for him to write another sports handicapping manual with all his ideas and methods.
