The biggest difference between wagering on football and wagering on other sports is that football games give bettors an entire week to study the lines and make their selections. While that's great for the bettor, it also can create a problem, as every other football bettor also plenty of time to look over the games and decide upon their wagers. And if they act first, they could move the point spread in an unfavorable manner. The 13-point favorite you liked may not be so appealing if they are bet up to 15-point favorites.

Likewise, there can be nothing more frustrating as taking a 13-point underdog on Tuesday and when Saturday rolls around, the favorite is now a 15-point favorite. This is especially painful if the favorite wins by 14.

This is where bettors should have a bit of knowledge about being able to predict line moves, which is the focus of Predicting Football Line Moves located in the football betting section of the site.

I agree with you. I never bet until game day, unless there seems to be something too good to be true and I assume the line won’t be as good on Sunday
