The best match-up of the first day of the college football bowl season will take place in chilly Las Vegas tonight, as the BYU Cougars face the Arizona Wildcats. The Wildcats are favored by 3.5 points and the total is at 59.5.
Arizona began the season in fine fashion, breezing to a pair of convincing victories over weaker teams. But the Wildcats struggled against the tougher competition and can count a victory over California as its only quality win.
BYU didn't fare much better against the top competition, getting thumped by TCU and Utah, but did beat several bowl teams on its way to a 10-2 record.
