Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment as far as picking the college bowls, as we go 1-2. The bright spot is that the win was our 2.5* play, while the loses were 1* and 1.5*, so the day was essentially a wash. Still, it could have been better, but caught a tough break on the Florida State game going over the total.

Did catch a bit of a break in the California game going under the total in that Cal coach Jeff Tedford stuck true to his word and played Nate Longshore at quarterback the entire game. To be honest, I didn't think he would, and expected to see Kevin Riley playing the majority of the contest. But Longshore's struggles throwing the ball made for a relatively easy under, so can't complain about that.

Moving to today's game between Northern Illinois and Louisiana Tech, we see that Tech has been a favorite among bettors, as the Bulldogs are now favored by 1.5 points after NIU opened as a 2-point favorite. The total on the game has basically remained unchanged and is between 46.5 and 47.
