2008 New Year's Eve Bowl Previews

There's plenty of action for college football fans today, starting with the Armed Forced bowl between Air Force and Houston. Air Force won the first meeting between the two in a game that was moved to Dallas because of Hurricane Ike.

Oregon State and Pittsburgh meet in the Sun Bowl in what should be an entertaining contest, while Boston College and Vanderbuilt meet in the Music City Bowl. It's the first bowl game for Vandy since 1982.

The insight bowl pits Kansas and Minnesota, while the day ends with the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, formerly the Peach Bowl, between LSU and Georgia Tech. What's interesting in this game is that a number of sports services are using this as their Bowl Game of the Year, but there are numerous services on both teams. There will be some happy bettors at the end of the day and some not-so happy bettors.

The public is backing Boston College the heaviest today, with Georgia Tech and Kansas also receiving plenty of action. We'll look at all the games today at New Year's Eve Bowl Previews located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
