The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act goes into effect today, as credit card companies are now left on their own to determine exactly what constitutes illegal online gambling. Naturally, the banking industry and gamblers aren't too pleased with it, even though the banking industry has until December to figure out how to handle the new law.
