New Jersey Senator Raymond Lesniak is apparently tired of waiting for the federal government to act on suggestions of legalized sports betting in the United States, so he has decided to try and force the government's hand — by filing a lawsuit seeking to make it legal to place sports wagers in all 50 states.

Sure, it has to be viewed as a longshot, but sports bettors across the U.S. have to be pleased to see yet another politician taking up the cause.
