College basketball takes a bit of a backseat to the rest of the sports world, as there is just one college game, that being the first game of the CBI Championship, where Oregon State hosts UTEP. When Oregon State was invited to the CBI there were plenty of cries of there being too many tournaments, as the Beavers were just 13-17, but the CBI has had the last laugh, as Oregon State has won all three post-season games.

UTEP is favored by one and the total on the game is 131.5

There are just four NBA games tonight, with Orlando at Miami the best of the bunch, and just three NHL games, although several key ones, including New Jersey at the New York Rangers and San Jose at Calgary.

The Rangers are in the middle the playoff push, while the Devils are battling Washington for the No. 2 seed in the East, while San Jose is fighting with Detroit for the President's Cup and Calgary is neck-and-neck with Vancouver for the division lead.

In the NCAA Tournament, North Carolina is favored by 7.5 over Villanova and the total is 160, while Connecticut is a 4-point favorite over Michigan State. The total is 135.

So far, the public is evenly split on the North Carolina game, while the Huskies are attracting 70-percent of the wagers against the Spartans. The North Carolina point spread opened Tar Heels -8 and is the only line move in either of the two games.

Today's play is up now and can be found at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
