The North Carolina Tar Heels and Connecticut Huskies are the two favorites heading into today's Final Four games, with Carolina the overall favorite to come away with the title on Monday. They are also the favorites with the public as of Saturday morning, with 51-percent of the wagers coming in on North Carolina, while the Huskies are drawing 62-percent of the wagers.
While North Carolina's Ty Lawson is drawing criticism from the NCAA for his little jaunt to Greektown, a Detroit casino where he won $250, the NCAA had no problem letting a casino sponsor Thursday's dunk contest, won by New Mexico’s Tony Danridge. And the NCAA wonders why it has such a bad reputation.
