The season is on the line for the Carolina Hurricanes tonight, as they can't afford to fall behind 3-0 to the Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals. Cam Ward, who had been brilliant in his career following a loss, was rocked for six goals in Pittsburgh's 7-4 victory on Wednesday.
The Pens have dominated the two games so far, but Carolina is a different team at home and will be ready to play.
In the NBA, the Lakers will look to regain homecourt advantage over the Nuggets by stealing a game in Denver. The Nuggets are 3.5-point favorites, after opening as a 4-point choice. The total on the game is still hovering around 211.
It's interesting to note the Nuggets have received the majority of the wagers, but the line has dropped. The Lakers are getting hit hard on the money line, receiving more than 80-percent of those wagers.
