A full slate of baseball games awaits bettors tonight, although those who placed their wagers early may have several no-bets, as there were several overnight pitching changes. In Washington, Stammen gets the start for the Nationals instead of Olsen; Tomo Ohka looks like the probable starter for the Indians; Bannister replaces Greinke for Kansas City; and Danks will take the mound for the White Sox instead of Buehrle.

Clay Buchholz makes his first start of the year for the Red Sox. After throwing a no-hitter in his second major league start, Buchholz has struggled, going 2-9 with a 6.75 ERA in 2008. A solid season so far in Triple AAA ball this year earned him the start.

The Chicago Cubs should be pleased to see themselves favored at Washington tonight. The Cubs have been a solid 42-28 when made the favorite, but a dismal 2-15 when underdogs this year.

Andy Fletcher will be behind the plate in San Diego this evening and has been the No. 1 under umpire in the league so far, as he is 3-14-2 to the under. Factor in that Geer has pitched much better at home, and those of you who like to track umpires could be looking at an under play. The only other umpire behind the plate tonight who has shown a tendency to go over or under is Randy Marsh in Atlanta. He is 12-6 to the over this year, but Jurrjens has been an under pitcher.

Today's play is up at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
