There are just day games in baseball today with a full schedule being played under the lights, as a number of new series are getting started. St. Louis vs. Philadelphia, San Francisco vs. Colorado and Detroit vs. Chicago White Sox are probably the three series with the biggest implications right now.
The top pitching match-up will take place in Kansas City, as Texas' Scott Feldman does battle with Zack Greinke in a meeting between young stars. Greinke has cooled down a bit after his blazing start, while Feldman seems poised to take over for Kevin Millwood as the team's ace.
As most series are just getting started there is very little umpire information available. The home plate umpire is known in just three games, although Jerry Reynolds (Arizona) has leaned towards the home team and the over this season and Larry Vanover (Yankees) has been a home team umpire.
