The second week of the college football season heats up today with a full schedule of games. The one drawing the most attention is the showdown between USC and Ohio State, where the Trojans will try to win at OSU, which isn't an easy thing to do, as the Buckeyes are 30-4 straight up at home the past five seasons.
The public is heavy on Virginia Tech, Northwestern, BYU, Texas, TCU, Boston College, Texas Tech, Southern Miss and Tulsa today. Each team has received at least 80 percent of the wagers in their respective games.
There is also a full slate of baseball games on today's schedule if the football games aren't enough. Those who like to track umpires will note there are over umpires working the plate in Philadelphia, Florida and San Francisco, while the two under umpires are working the Yankee and Houston games. None of the umpires are extreme, as all are around 60 to 64 percent.
