Football fans have gotten used to the idea of bye weeks. They were a part of the college football scene for years, then the NFL decided to get into the act for the reason of extending the week an extra season.
Despite all of the attempts by football coaches to put a positive spin on a bye week, they don't always work out for the best. Especially for college football teams in a certain situation.
