After a two-day break football returns to the limelight tonight, with a trio of games, including the Bills and the Jets playing in Toronto. If the NFL really wanted to expand football's popularity north of the border, they could have chosen a number of different teams. The Jets are favored by three and the total is 37.

Arkansas State and Western Kentucky isn't likely to draw much interest except from bettors, as the teams have a combined 3-19 record and Western is still seeking its first win of the season.

The marquee game on the schedule will take place between Oregon and Oregon State in what is affectionately known as the Civil War. The winner will not only earn bragging rights in the state, but will also earn a berth in the Rose Bowl.

Autzen Stadium is a difficult place for visitors to play, which should be expected when you have die-hard Duck supporters like Ashley Conklin running around, and Oregon's only two losses of the season came on the road. Oregon is 5-1 against the spread at home.

Oregon State is 4-1 straight up and against the spread on the road this season, with the lone blemish coming at USC.

Oregon is favored by 9.5 points at most sportsbooks, although there are a few that have Oregon -10.

Boston at San Antonio headlines a small NBA slate, while NHL bettors have 11 games to choose from. There is a decent-sized college basketball schedule, although no games involving two ranked teams.

Today's play in the Oregon game, along with the rest of the Pac-10 games are up at Free Sports Betting Picks located in the Sports Gambling 101 section of the site.
