The college bowl seson takes a definite step backwards today, as none of the game can match the excitement of New Year's Day. Still, there are a few decent match-ups on the schedule, along with several games that are for alumni or die-hard bettors only.
There are five more college bowl games today and bettors, at least those on the West Coast, are probably grateful to have an extra hour to sleep, as things don't get started until noon EST.
We were a dismal 2-3 on the five New Year's Day games, although winning with the Bruins on the regular free pick page eased the pain a bit. That's one reason why I always stress to pass games that you don't have a strong opinion on, or at the least just make token wagers.
