Americans will no doubt sleep better tonight knowing that former BetOnSports CEO David Carruthers was sentenced to 33 months in prison on Friday. Carruthers was the fourth person in the case to have made a guilty plea.
Carruthers' sentence was less than that of BetOnSports founder Gary Kaplan, who is serving 51 months in prison for his role with the online sportsbook.
