Before we can get to college basketball's Big Dance, the field has to be set and for a number of teams, if they go or not will be determined by the various conference tournaments that will start taking place shortly.
Teams can generally be broken into three groups--those teams that are already in the NCAA Tournament, those teams that need to win a few games, but not necessarily win the conference tournament to get an invite and those teams which have to win the conference tournament to get an invite.
Some conferences have seen the underdogs do extremely well in the conference tourneys, while other conferences have seen the favorite cover a large percentage of the time. We'll look at how teams have done in the major conferences in Betting College Basketball's Conference Tournaments in the Basketball Betting section of the site.
