It wouldn't quite be another Miracle on Ice if the USA defeats Canada today, but it would certainly be a surprise. Team Canada is favored by -220 at most books, with the USA getting back anywhere from +180 to +200. The total is 5.5.
Canada certainly has the better players, but Team USA has truly played well as a team throughout these Olympics and has proven they can go toe-to-toe with their neighbors to the North.
If Ryan Miller continues with his play, the game could go either way and a USA victory would do wonders for the popularity of the sport in the States. Regardless, it should be an exciting game.
