A number of college basketball teams will be parked in front of their televisions today, as the NCAA announces the field for next week's NCAA Tournament. Of the eight teams playing today, Mississippi State is probably the only one on the bubble with a tournament berth still a question mark.
It won't be easy for the Bulldogs, however, as Kentucky is favored by 7.5 points.
Other games today are Georgia Tech vs. Duke, Richmond vs. Temple and Ohio State against Minnesota.
Elsewhere on the sports scene, Boston and Cleveland meet in the marquee NBA contest of the day, while the NHL keeps pace with an interesting game between Washington and Chicago.
