Today is the day college basketball fans have been waiting for all season, as the "Big Dance" gets going with 16 games today, along with 16 more on Friday.
The public gets involved in the tournament to a much higher degree than the regular season, so public perception is factored into the lines a bit. Currently, the public is betting Georgetown, Baylor, Notre Dame and Northern Iowa.
