The key to a winning baseball season is in finding good value in the lines on a daily basis and that's difficult to do when you're consistently backing the big name pitchers. Pitchers like Cliff Lee, Felix Hernandez and Roy Halladay are going to win more than they lose, but will often be sent off as extremely large favorites.
The key is finding pitchers, and teams, that go off at better odds than their actual probability of winning any particular game, which often entails wagering on lesser-known pitchers.
