NBA Commissioner David Stern has been all smiles ever since the 2010 NBA Finals were determined, as another battle between the Lakers and the Celtics are guaranteed to get good ratings.
The Lakers are solid favorites in the series and are favored by 5.5 in the first game with the total floating around 192.
The Celtics are attracting roughly 60 percent of the wagers, which is often a bad sign for those liking the underdog, but wouldn't be enough to make me switch my bet if I liked Boston. It would make me pause, however, if I was just placing a wager for the fun of it.
The Lakers are -180 to win the series and have plenty of respected handicappers on their side, making a series wager a tough call, as laying that kind of price will eventually leave a bettor broke.
