It's been a dismal season for the Seattle Mariners, who travel to Yankee Stadium tonight to face Javier Vasquez and the Yankees. Seattle has a huge advantage in the pitching match-up, with "King Felix" on the hill, but little else, as New York has by far the better team.
Hernandez has gotten back on track after a shaky start and has pitched 26 2/3 innings in his last three starts, allowing just five runs and notching 26 strikeouts. Seattle won two of three of those starts.
Vasquez was roughed up a bit in his last outing after having a pair of decent starts previous to that one. The Yankees are 5-6 in his starts this season.
The Yankees are getting plenty of support from bettors, as nearly 75 percent of the wagers on the game are coming in on New York.
