
The NFL preseason schedule gives football bettors games to choose from on nearly a daily basis. Once the first week of games begin, there are just two days each week where there are no games scheduled.
As a result, teams find themselves playing games with extremely short practice weeks, or longer-than-normal practice weeks depending on the day of their previous game.
Games involving two teams with short rest or extended rest have seen some trends develop.
