With the NFL playoffs here, it's time to look at several of the trends that have established themselves over the past eight years. As there are more bettors coming out of the woodwork for the playoffs, the public perception is given a little more weight, so not surprisingly, the underdogs have fared better than average.
There have been several interesting developments in regards to totals, although those don't appear until later in the playoffs.
