The 2011 Kentucky Derby offers more questions than answers at this point in time, as track conditions for the Run For the Roses is still up the air with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms forecast for Saturday.
An even bigger question is the status of Uncle Mo, who may or may not run depending on who you believe. There are plenty of rumors circulating around race tracks that say the 2010 juvenile champion will be scratched before the race, while owner Mike Repole is saying he will make a decision on Friday.
Others, such as Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, don't believe there is anything wrong with Uncle Mo and Repole, a known bettor, is just trying to get higher odds on his horse.
The Kentucky Derby is known for producing some longshots and there are several horses who fit that bill perfectly this year.
We'll take an early look at the race in 2011 Kentucky Derby Preview in the Betting on Other Sports section of the site.
