Events have the past week have been a boost to Barack Obama in more ways than one. Not only his popularity soared among the American people, his odds of being re-elected have also increased, although they have stabilized a bit over the past few days.
Obama is now a solid -200 favorite to win a second term in office at Bodog, while other sportsbooks have him at -250 or even higher. On the other side of the political spectrum, Milt Romney is now an 8-to-1 choice to win the 2012 presidential election.
