When it comes to baseball betting systems, the number of games in a season is something that definitely has to be considered. While it's unlikely a person would start betting on an NFL system on the basis of one or two years worth of results, a baseball season has 10 times the number of games as an NFL season and twice as many games as the NBA or NHL.

One of the things bettors need to decide is how much relevance they want to put into long-term trends compared to shorter-term trends. We'll look at several new systems and how they have fared on a yearly basis to try and come up with an answer in Short Term or Long Term Baseball Betting Trends? in the Baseball Betting section of the site.

Allen, you are awesome. I love the systems you propose, but just as much the good advice about not just jumping into a system because it looks good today.

I have been using the DIY Sports Betting System this year. It is at http://www.diysportsbetting.com/MLB . It uses the moneyline at +150 or better on the right games.

I have had good success with it (7-0,+8 units so far in 2011) and suggest you look at it. But like Allen said, don’t just jump into blindly.
