The Belmont Stakes and baseball make up most of Saturday's sports betting slate and this year's Belmont is a tough handicapping event, as the two favorites, Animal Kingdom and Nehro, figure to be tough in this spot. Shackleford may be able to go wire-to-wire, but his Preakness victory will lower his odds down too much.
Longshot players may want to look at Master of Hounds and Brilliant Speed.
On the diamond, the schedule isn't that enticing, with no marquee games, but several decent match-ups are out there. The best pitching matchup is likely in Milwaukee where Chris Carpenter and the Cardinals battle Zack Greinke and the Brewers.
